Children's Services
Introducing children to the value and pleasure of books is one of our most important services. In addition to fiction and and nonfiction collections, the library provides picture books, easy reading materials, reference books, magazines, books-on-tape and CD, videos, DVD's, and CD-ROMs.
The library offers story hours for pre-schoolers during the school year. A Toddler program for children ages 18 months to 3 years is offered.
An eight week Summer Reading Program is offered every summer for toddlers through ten-year-olds.
Instruction in the use of the library is available to individuals and school groups.
