The Friends of the Summit County Libraries
The FRIENDS meet the second Wednesday of each month at 5:30 pm in the Buffalo Mountain Room at the County Commons Building in Frisco. Contact Mary at mmctuttle@cs.com or any of the libraries for more information.

The FRIENDS is a nonprofit all-volunteer group originally organized in Summit county in 1960 and incorporated in 1977. The status of 501(c)(3) was obtained in October 1978.
MISSION STATEMENT

To increase public awareness, use, and support of libraries.

To provide financial assistance by purchasing special items in support of library programs.

To sponsor programs designed to add to the cultural life of Summit County.
The FRIENDS sponsors programs throughout the year. Each winter there is a travel slide show series in the Blue River Room of the North Branch Library. Contact any of the libraries for program dates and details.
