This group is open to middle and high school students only. Help plan events for teens in Summit County. Snacks provided.
TEEN READ WEEK IS OCTOBER 12 TO 18, 2008

The TRW theme this year is "Books with Bite." Any middle or high school student who checks out a book from October 12th to 18th will receive a set of vampire fangs. Be sure to join us for a Twilight Party Friday, October 17th, from 5:30 to 8:30 PM (after hours) at the North Branch Library, 651 Center Circle, Silverthorne. We will be celebrating the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer. Come dressed as your favorite character from the books, or as a traditional vampire. We will have games, spooky snacks, and prizes for creative costumes.
MISSING ENDING BOOK CLUB
This month's book is a spooky, but funny mystery. The club is open to middle and high school students only, and is limited to 10 members. Read your book up to the stapled pages (the missing ending), and stop. No peeking! Come to the get-together from 4:00 to 5:30 PM on October 14, 2008 at the North Branch Library. We'll have snacks, games, and a craft; and the best guess at the ending wins a prize.
Goody bags and free books for the November meeting will be available for pick up at the North Branch Library starting Wednesday, October 15, 2008. Call Janet at 468-5887 with any questions.

Volunteers are needed at all three Summit County Libraries. Call your local library to set up a time to come in.
