Permits

The Engineering Department requires a Grading and Excavation permit when soil disturbance is greater than 500 s.f. or when water quality is at risk as identified in the Summit County Land Use and Development Code

Board of County Commissioners approved new fees and fee increases effective November 1, 2007

Applications for a grading permit are submitted via the building permit process for all grading linked with structural development.  For roads, subdivision improvements or other grading needs, apply with the Engineering Department separately.
